God calls us to follow human leaders as they follow Christ, always remembering that our ultimate obedience belongs to God when human authority conflicts with His Word. God gives us godly examples because they help us grow, showing us what faithful Christian living looks like and encouraging us to do the same. Both leaders and believers are called to live as examples, setting aside a critical spirit and pointing others to Christ through their lives.
