After a mission trip to the Philippines in December 2015, the Lord began to touch Pastor Byram's heart for Open Door to be involved more there. God gave Pastor Byram the word, "Base".  In December of 2017 we were led to start a church in Orion, Bataan Philippines.  In June 2018, the church was started, and Orion became the "base" for Open Door Worldwide.  Open Door Worldwide (ODW) is a mission board that raises support both in the United States and the Philippines to support ministries in the Philippines. This support is used to start churches, help the poor and needy, and give income to church planters. ODW will only take on a pastor that is already producing. These pastors are elite men of God. Unfortunately, many church planters and pastors in the Philippines have to work full time jobs. ODW is set up to pay him a salary sufficient for himself and his family, so there is no need to work a job while starting the church. With the support of ODW these pastors are freed up to focus solely on the great commission as stated in Mark 15:16, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."  We are also developing a Bible College to train the nationals to be missionaries both to their own country, and also around the world! We have found the Filipino people to be phenomenal missionaries. They're adaptable and willing to go wherever God calls them.  ODW has coined the term "Bataan Life March". With Orion as the base, ODW plans to reverse the "Bataan Death March" of 1941. During WWII, Americans and Filipinos marched together to their death. By God's grace, we will march together bringing the life of Jesus through soulwinning, planting churches, and discipling new converts in the ministry to reach Bataan, and one day reach the world as overseas missionaries for Jesus Christ!
