Church Profile

A church with a heart !

At  ODBC, we strive to be like Jesus.  One of the many wonderful things about Jesus was His heart for people.  We are a church that believes that  people need to see the love of God in us.  Many people have been hurt, cast down, or  failed; they have fallen, and have found that this world can be hard and cold.  When you come to ODBC you will find people who will truly love you because you are important and God loves you.  The Lord has a plan for your life no matter where you are, or what you have done.  Because of what The Lord has done for us, we want to share that with everyone who walks through the doors of ODBC.  We at ODBC call it our “haven” where we get into our shelter from the world and sin, and are with those with the same heart as us.

Come this SUNDAY and see a church with a heart!

A totally Bible-based Church

Although we have a sending church, (Grand View Baptist Church, Beavercreek, Oregon) ODBC was started as an independent church with no denomination, fellowship, organization, or any other institution of man, to say how we must do things. We have one authority - the Bible! We simply look to the Bible to see how THE LORD would like a church to be. Our model is the church in the book of Acts. We believe that God has shown Christians, through His Word and the Holy Spirit, how HE would like a church to be. ODBC is not our church, but His church.  We preach and teach only the Bible and believe that it is God’s life changing Word.

We are:

-Fundamental (We believe the foundational truths
of God’s Word:  the Trinity, salvation through
Christ alone, the Deity of Christ, the inspiration and
              preservation of the Bible, etc...)

             -An independent church (see above)

-Soul winning (We believe in going to the world
with the Gospel and telling them how to be saved. We             go door to door, and everywhere we can to witness.)

-Separated (We believe that God’s people should be
different from the world and live holy.)
